Doug Corbett has been a sought after strength & conditioning, athletic trainer, and weight loss coach in Passaic and Bergen County, NJ and Rockland County, NY for the past several years.

He has worked with athletes at the elementary to D1 collegiate level. Many of his athletes who he started with when they were in high school are now playing their sport at their colleges of choice. Through his strength training and conditioning, every one of his clients have become much bigger, faster, and stronger than they ever could have become on their own. In addition to his young athletes, several of his clients are triathletes. Either seeking his strength and conditioning advice to better their times in their next sprint/full distance tri or during their first attempt at such a grueling event!

Doug’s weight loss clients have combined to lose thousands of pounds through his coaching, guidance, nutrition advice, workouts, and care. Not only have they lost weight, their doctors have taken them off of diabetes and blood pressure medication! Many of his clients have come to him and said; “My doctor was astonished by my change and needed to know what I was doing!”

Each person who begins to work with Doug does not just undergo a body transformation, but an entire life overhaul for the better! Their self-images improve and in doing so, the positive change creates a domino effect that carriers to every corner of the person’s life. A new found confidence and self esteem are accompanied with the weight loss. Looking better and feeling better! How can it get any better?

Additionally, Doug works with models from the amateur level to Calvin Klein and Vera Wang.

Body Transformation Philosophy:

1) When Someone Improves Their Athletics, They Will Instantly Improve Their Aesthetics - Lifting weights, running, moving their own body through motion, and jumping are all athletic movements that are crucial to weight loss success. Most of the advice in the media, the “popular advice,” only leads people to workouts that will leave them frustrated in their quest to lose weight by the lack of results produced. Making someone more athletic is by far the superior way to having someone losing the 20, 30, 50, or even 100 pounds they have been trying to for the past several years (or decades).

2) Simplifying Leaves Room For Results - The Pareto Principle states; “80 percent of the effect comes from 20% of the causes.” People who seek my advice are so fried on information overload that I have to rebuild them from the ground up because they have been filed with nonsense. Things need to be simple. Simple makes the process easy to stick to and effective. My programs are constantly being tweaked and streamlined in my efforts to guarantee my clients the most cutting edge. time efficient, and result driven advice I can possible give.

“After losing 87 pounds on The Biggest Loser, I was struggling to keep the weight off. Having worked out at a local gym, I was familiar with some of the trainers. It wasn’t until Doug came up to me and expressed interest in working out with me that I really ever thought of using one of those trainers. After working with two high profile trainers in the past, Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper, I was very picky and particular about working with new personal trainers.

With his different techniques and workouts, I was never bored training with him. I would always leave after an hour feeling like I accomplished a great workout, never mind always being super sore! With all of my traveling, I haven’t been able to work out as often with him, but I would most definitely train with him again and would suggest him to anyone looking for a passionate, hard-working trainer.”
