'Legally Blonde' Premieres on Chatham High Stage

The story of a young woman's road to 'self-discovery' is something anyone can relate to, director says.

Senior citizens gathered for a matinee final dress rehearsal of Chatham High School's spring musical "Legally Blonde" Wednesday afternoon. The show included a dinner for the seniors in Chatham High's cafeteria following the final dress rehearsal, courtesy of the Chatham High Theater Department. Kelly Cole, who plays Elle Woods, and Dexter, who plays her dog Bruiser, will sit and sign autographs following the Saturday matinee performance at 1 p.m. "We thought that might appeal to some of the kids in the audience," Lynn Polan, the play's director said.
