EMMITSBURG, MD-- Mount St. Mary's University is pleased to announce 555 students who earned dean's list honors for the fall 2012 semester. They include: Mount St. Mary's University in Maryland is the nation's second-oldest Catholic university - with 19 Division I athletic teams, an award-winning student life program and more than 40 majors and minors to choose from.
Four students from Chatham earn honors at the Maryland university.

At Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Md., 559 students made the 2012 spring semester Dean's List. Four Chatham natives are among them: Higgins and Walters also made the Dean's List for the fall semester. Established in 1808, Mount St. Mary's University is the nation's second-oldest Catholic university in the nation, with Georgetown University the oldest. Commonly called "The Mount," the university is rated in the top 25 Catholic Universities in the country as one of the most 'Faithful and Affordable'.
