The question 'What would you do if you had $1 million?' spurred interesting responses from Chatham High School students.
What would you do with $1 million? At Chatham High School, this question, posed by the CHS Pulse, has generated some substantial buzz. The Pulse is a weekly show produced by TV production students at Chatham High School, each featuring various stories from around the school. Connor Henderson, the Technology and TV Production teacher at Chatham High, said, "one of the most popular segments on CHS Pulse has been the Question of the Week. In the Dec. 10 episode the question was, 'What would you do with $1 million?'" Students had some interesting responses to the question, from giving the money to charity to "buying a small country, cars and vacations," according to a press release from MSG Varsity. Turn on and tune in to watch Chatham High take on Marlboro.
The Chatham High School academic team's third round of competitions on MSG Varsity's "The Challenge" airs Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Fans of the team first saw five representatives beat Fair Lawn 400-240. The team members traveled to New York City to tape the competition in November, in the midst of a heavy snow fall. The episode aired in December. In February, the team competed in Round 2 against Piscataway High School. The episode aired in March, and Chatham won 430-305. In the third and final round of regional championships, the Cougars will take on the academic team from Marlboro High School. According to Stephen Fineman, one of two advisors for the academic team, Chatham is one of 12 remaining teams still competing on "The Challenge." …

The team now moves on to the third round.
The Chatham High School academic team defeated Piscataway in the second round of MSG Varsity's "The Challenge," in an episode shot earlier this year. Stephen Fineman, the team advisor, said the first three rounds of the team's match against Piscataway "were incredibly close" and "buzzer reflexes won out on every question." In the last round, things started to go Chatham's way. "Chatham won all four 10-point toss-ups (one for each member of our team) and converted seven of the eight 15- and 20-point bonus rounds.
