PHOTOS: Crowd Welcomes N.Y. Giant to Chatham

Fans from as far away as Albany, N.Y. come to meet Jason Pierre-Paul.

The crowd of more than 100 Wednesday evening wound its way from Legends Gallery in downtown Chatham Borough for the opportunity to meet, get an autograph and a photo with N.Y. Giants defensive end, Jason Pierre-Paul. The line of fans stretched out the door of Legends, to the corner and down half the block on Main Street. People came from as far away as Albany, N.Y., and waited patiently for the chance to meet the Super Bowl champ. Those waiting for their turn had assorted items for signature. Legends sold jerseys, helmets and photos for autographing. Other fans brought their own items for Pierre-Paul's signature. In one case, a fan brought a pair of game-worn football shoes that belonged to Pierre-Paul.

N.Y. Giant Jason Pierre-Paul to Visit Legends Gallery

Super Bowl champ will sign autographs and meet the fans Wednesday.

Get ready, Giants fans, because yet another member of your favorite football team is coming to Chatham Wednesday. Jason Pierre-Paul, a member of the Super Bowl XLVI championship team, will be at Legends Gallery in downtown Chatham Borough Wednesday between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. to meet the fans, sign autographs and pose for pictures. Pierre-Paul was drafted by the New York Giants in 2010 as the 15th overall draft pick. He was an integral part of the Giants' defensive team during the 2011-12 season. He made 16.5 sacks this year, nearly four times the amount made during his rookie season in 2010. Tickets to have Pierre-Paul sign autographs range from $110 to $130. VIDEO: Super Bowl Star Victor Cruz Delights Fans

The New York Giants player made his first fan appearance in New Jersey since Super Bowl XLVI in Chatham Saturday.

New York Giants fans flocked to Chatham Saturday for an appearance by Victor Cruz, the New York Giants receiver who scored the first Super Bowl touchdown in February. Legends Gallery owners Randy Dembo and Gregg Dailey worked with Cruz's agent to bring the football star to Chatham People from as far as Maryland came to get a helmet, photograph, football or other memorabilia signed by Cruz, or to see how their salsa moves compared to those of the Paterson native.
