The following area residents were named to the the Dean's List at Quinnipiac University for the Fall 2012 semester: To qualify for the dean's list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis, to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester. Quinnipiac is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston. Chatham students are making their mark at the University of Delaware—by making top marks in their classes. The following residents of Chatham were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester: To make it to the Dean's List, students must be enrolled fulltime at the University of Delaware and earn a grade point average (GPA) of 3.33 or over for the semester. The University of Delaware was founded in 1743 and is one of the most popular universities in the U.S. Nearly 17,000 undergraduates, 3,700 graduate students and 850 students in professional and continuing studies from across the country and around the globe matriculate at the campus.

PROVIDENCE, RI (01/04/2013)(readMedia)-- The following area residents have been named to the Dean's List at Providence College for the Fall 2012 semester: To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade point average with a minimum of 12 credits. Providence College is the only college or university in the United States administered by the Dominican Friars. The Catholic, liberal arts college has an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 3,900 students and offers degrees in 49 academic majors.
