Three residents of the Chathams earned their bachelors degrees from Providence College this year. Providence held their 94th commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 20. Over 900 students received their undergraduate diplomas that day, including: Barresi and Winschuh were also named to the spring 2012 semester Dean's List. To qualify for Providence College's Dean's List, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade point average with a minimum of 12 credits. The commencement address was delivered by Viola Davis, who received an honorary doctorate in fine arts.
