Two Chathamites Graduate from Clemson

One Chatham man, Christopher Dart, graduated cum laude.

Two Local residents graduated from Clemson University on Dec. 20, 2012. They are: In all, 1,200 students received degrees at two winter graduation ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum. Graduates in the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences; College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities; and College of Engineering and Science received their degrees at a morning ceremony. Those from the College of Business and Behavioral Science and the College of Health Education and Human Development received theirs in the afternoon ceremony. Ranked No. 25 among national public universities, Clemson University is a major, land-grant, science- and engineering-oriented research university that maintains a strong commitment to teaching and student …

Local Students Make Clemson's Dean's List

Three locals earned between a 3.5 and 3.99 GPA

Clemson University recently announced the students who earned a spot on their Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester. The following three Chatham residents were among those names. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale. Clemson University is a land-grant, science- and engineering-oriented research university that maintains a strong commitment to teaching and student success. The school boasts of a student-centered community characterized by high academic standards, a culture of collaboration, school spirit, and a competitive drive to excel.

Thomas Koch Graduates Clemson

Chatham native is among the university's largest class ever.

Chatham native Thomas Autrey Koch II graduated from Clemson University on May 11 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Koch was one graduate from Clemson's largest-ever graduating class at Clemson's three commencement ceremonies at the Littlejohn Coliseum. A total of 2,242 students earned their bachelor's degrees, 514 received master's degrees and 85 earned doctorates. Here are videos from the three ceremonies:
