Ark. Manslaughter Charges, Skate Park Challenge Top Local News

James T. Hearon of Wade, Ark. faces one manslaughter and two battery charges for a car accident that killed Charles Dziedzic and seriously injured Chatham Borough Administrator Robert Falzarano and his brother George. If convicted, Hearon faces a maximum sentence of 22 years in prison and $30,000 in fines. Manning, a two-time Super Bowl champion, will sign autographs at the Chatham Borough sports collectibles store from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Insurance company forced Chatham Township to close the park, and estimates for the necessary repairs range from $40,000 to $100,000. Stephen Barna, who represented Chatham Borough on the Board of Education, submitted a letter of resignation to Board of Education President Thomas K. Belding Friday, Sept. 14…
