NY Rangers Captain Coming to Chatham

Ryan Callahan will appear at Legends Gallery on March 22.

Hockey fans rejoice! After appearances by several popular NFL players, New York Rangers captain Ryan Callahan will appear at Legends Gallery on March 22. Callahan will give autographs to those with tickets between 7 and 9 p.m. Tickets range from $20 to $100, with $85 and $100 tickets including items such as pucks, flats and jerseys for Callahan to sign. Callahan made his NHL premiere in 2008, and was called back down to the American Hockey League three times before permanently being added to the Rangers' roster in 2008. He became the Rangers' 26th captain on Sept. 12, 2011, at the age of 26. He is the team's fifth youngest captain. World Series Players to Make Local Appearance

Mookie Wilson and Bill Buckner of the 1986 Mets and Red Sox, who played against each other in the World Series, will sign autographs on Feb. 10.

Legends Gallery will host two retired players from the 1986 World Series, Red Sox player Bill Buckner and Mets player Mookie Wilson, for an autograph signing on Sunday, Feb. 10. Wilson helped lead the Mets to their 1986 World Series victory in seven games against the Boston Red Sox. But for Mets fans, the real victory was on Oct. 25, Game Six of the World Series that year. "In the bottom of the 10th inning, the Sox were on top, 5 to 3," Legends owner Randy Dembo said, before the Mets were able to tie it up 5-5. "Mookie Wilson stepped up to the plate, with a full count.
