I sent my second and third children to Sprout House and I wish I had known about it for my first. Sprout House teachers are very experienced and seem to have mastered early childhood education. They are loving and inspire the children's curiosity and imaginative play so that they explore everything in their world--such as food, music, holidays, and family. Sprout House is especially good at fostering a sense of wonder about nature, and the children play outdoors every day possible. The extended care hours are really convenient, too. The healthy food policy for snacks and lunch has kept my pre-schoolers from requesting junk food until they reached public school.

My Daughter is in her second year at Sprout House and she looks forward to every day there! The teachers are top-notch & passionate about what they are doing. They make it a point to foster a love of nature by having out-door play on most days. The school itself also has drop-off hours and flexible hours for working Mothers, which comes in handy. I agree with Sandra that it's the best kept secret around!
Sprout House is the ideal place for the healthy development of children. Both my kids have gone there and have thrived there. In the early years they foster the social-emotianl aspect that is so improtant. As they get older they start teaching the kids valuable skills such as critical thinking and allowing them to be creative exploring learning through all their senses. Love the fact that they incorporate healthy eating and living so kids learn what good food is and also what it means to take care of themselves and their world around them. I think it is the best kept secret of Chatham.
I have had my child at Sprout House for 2 years now, and I can't say enough good things about it. I recommend it to all my friends. The teachers have been there for many years, and remain enthusiastic and loving. They are highly educated in teaching techniques, child development and social development. The school has a wonderful sense of community, and we have made many family friends. Sprout provides wrap-around care if you need a longer day than the 9-11:45 morning (or until 12:45 with lunch), and the wrap-around staff is equally experienced and consistent. I would recommend Sprout as much for daycare as for preschool. I value the emphasis on healthy eating and caring for the environment as well.

My 5 years old has been going to Sprout House since the summer of 2010. The school is the most important place for him to achieve transformation.
Before joining the school, my son had no experience to play with other kids. As a bilingual child, he spoke English a little at home. School life was a big shock to him, soon we found he was locked himself in selective mutism – He refused to speak any word to anybody in school.
Fortunately, within the skilled hands of a team of teachers who are filled with loves, caring and patience, after one year school life, my son began to whisper to teachers, then to make friends with teachers, and finally to have his own friends in class.
Seeing the ever complicated artworks taken to home everyday and listening to stories told in school, I enjoy interesting school life as well as my kid’s healthy growth up. Once my son told me, his teacher loves him more than I do, so he loves her more than love me!
