Passaic River County Park is administered by Morris County and is located by the shores of the Passaic River on the township's western edge. It is part of an effort to keep the river from becoming overdeveloped.
The park extends into Long Hill Township. It contains 769 acres and more than 5,000 feet of shoreline.
The township donated some its land to the park.
