'Puss in Boots,' Christmas Tree Pickup, Council Reorganization This Week

School board meeting also in the week ahead.

Borough Council: Chatham's governing body is scheduled to meet 7:30 p.m. Monday at the municipal building, 54 Fairmount Ave. Mayor Bruce Harris will give his annual message, reelected council members Victoria Fife and James Collander will be sworn in, and volunteers, officials and professionals will be appointed, according to the meeting agenda.

Board of Education:
The school board for the School District of the Chathams is scheduled to meet 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Chatham Township municipal building, 58 Meyersville Road.

'Puss in Boots':
 Chatham Community Players' Fantasy Theater is scheduled to present children's classic "Puss in Boots" 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, and Sunday, Jan. 12 at the Chatham Playhouse, 23 North Passaic Ave.

Christmas Tree Pickup: Chatham Disposal will be picking up Christmas trees in Chatham Township on Saturday. Trees must be placed curbside before 5:30 a.m., not bagged and all ornaments must be removed.

In Chatham Borough, Christmas tree pickup is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 6, and Monday, Jan. 13.
