Chatham Pools Open Weekends Starting Saturday

Memorial Pool in Chatham Borough and Colony Pool in Chatham Township open Saturday for summer 2013. The pools will be open weekends until school ends when they will open during the week as well.

Besides the usual preparations for summer, volunteers at Colony Pool & Tennis Club also planted three new palm trees just in time for the pool's opening. Each of the palm trees stands from 15 ft. to 18 ft. tall.

The volunters on the Colony Pool Advisory Committee ask appreciative members make a tax-deductible donation to help defray the cost of the trees. Checks can be made out to Chatham Township with "Colony Palm Tree Fund" in the memo, and donation.
