Stanley Church Delivers Food, Clothing to Needy

Stanley Church volunteers make and deliver 300 bag lunches.

Members and friends of Stanley Congregational Church were the picture of speed and efficiency on Saturday, January 26, when in less than 45 minutes they assembled over 300 bag lunches for the needy in Irvington.  Veteran volunteers worked side-by-side with newcomers to make and bag ham sandwiches and pack them with a drink, a snack, and fruit to be delivered the next day on a Run with Bridges Outreach to the Irvington Neighborhood Improvement Corporation.

Stanley's Pilgrim Fellowship youth group (6th-12th grade), coordinated by Lucy Malatesta, regularly supports Bridges Outreach in Summit, and welcomes assistance with food and toiletry donations.  Please check Stanley's website or Facebook page for information on our next Run if you would like to donate or to join us on a Run.
