Wrestlers Place in Kinnelon Tournament

Winter sports teams at continued their successful streak over the weekend. With fencing results still pending and only one other loss in three days, the teams go into their Tuesday games with positive energy.

On Thursday:

• The bowling team defeated the Morris County School of Technology 5-2.
• The JV bowling team defeated the Morris County School of Technology 5-0.
• The ice hockey team defeated Mountain Lakes 4-2.
• The boys swimming team defeated Randolph 102-68.
• The girls swimming team defeated Randolph 114-56.

On Friday:

• The boys basketball team defeated Morris Catholic 53-45.
• The JV boys basketball team defeated Morris Catholic 51-35.
• The girls basketball team defeated Morris Catholic 64-49.
• The JV girls basketball team defeated Morris Catholic 44-33.

On Saturday:

• The girls indoor track team competed at the NJSIAA Group II State Relays. The girls placed sixth in the distance medley and in the 4 x 800 relay.
• The ice hockey team was defeated by Morristown-Beard 5-0.
• The JV ice hockey team defeated Ridge 1-0.
• The fencing teams competed at the Santilli Tournament. Results are not yet available.
• The wrestling team competed at the Kinnelon Tournament. Matt Grilli placed fourth, Justin Engel placed third, Tom Penn placed second and Dylan Mulcahy placed first.
• The JV wrestling team competed at the Kinnelon Tournament. John Elmasri placed third and Emanuel Rodriguez placed second.

The following events are scheduled for Tuesday:

• The boys basketball team competes against West Essex at home at 7 p.m.
• The JV boys basketball team competes against West Essex at home at 5:30 p.m.
• The bowling team competes against Morris Hills at Rockaway Lanes at 4 p.m.
• The swim teams compete against Morristown at the Morristown High School pool at 4 p.m.
• The wrestling team competes against Parsippany at 7 p.m.
• The JV wrestling team competes against Parsippany at 6 p.m.
• The ice hockey team competes against West Morris Central at Mennen Arena at 8 p.m.
