Volleyball Defeats Morris Knolls

Field hockey team also victorious over rival Mendham.

On Tuesday, Oct. 2:

The girls volleyball team fell to Mount Olive in the Morris County Tournament 2-0. Chatham lost the first set 25-17 and the second set 25-14. Leading the Cougars were Carolyn Johnson with 5 assists, Natalie Schroder with 7 digs, and Candace Devito with 3 kills.

On Wednesday, Oct. 3:

The girls volleyball team bounced back with a hard-fought and intense match against Morris Knolls, which they won 2-1. The Cougars were 25-14 in the first match, lost 25-11 in the second match and won the third match 25-17. Carolyn Johnson had 13 assists, while Caroline Beardsley had 6 kills and 11 digs. Also leading Chatham were Candace DeVito with 4 kills and 5 digs and Natalie Schroder with 7 digs. Chatham is now 5-7 on the season.

The girls field hockey team defeated Mendham 3-1.
