Chatham sprinter Emily Hoffman dominated the girls' 100 meter dash in a track meet against Madison.
Chatham sprinter Emily Hoffman finished far ahead of the pack in the 100 meter dash during Chatham's dual meet against Madison on Thursday at Cougar Field.
She appears to be so far ahead, in fact, that even after she had gotten well beyond the finish line, some Madison runners had yet to break the tape. In a short sprint like the 100 meter race, Hoffman's victory—she finished with a time of 14 seconds—was enough to give Chatham some bragging rights.
The girls' team defeated Madison 88-47 in the meet.
