Pequannock Shuts Down Chatham Softball

Davies records Cougars' lone hit in 6-0 setback.

The Chatham High softball team was limited to just two baserunners in a 6-0 home loss to Pequannock on Friday.

IN SHORT

In the top of the first, Pequannock’s clean-up hitter Becky Myron blasted a three-run home run off Chatham pitcher Amanda Fazio, setting the tone for the rest of the game as the Panthers dominated the Cougars. The home team committed three errors and had only two base runners in seven innings of the rain-soaked game.

Kendall Davies had the only hit for Chatham, reaching safely on an infield hit in the fourth inning.

McCall Moore walked in the sixth inning, only the second baserunner of the day for Chatham.
