NY Rangers Captain Callahan Draws Hundreds to Legends Gallery

Fans bring memorabilia to be signed by hockey star.

The Legends Gallery, 7 N. Passaic Ave., hosted an autograph session Wednesday with Ryan Callahan, the captain of the New York Rangers.  People started lining up more than five hours before the event was scheduled to begin in the hopes of being one of the first in line.

Fans of the Rangers and Callahan came from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York City and all over New Jersey. Those waiting in line had all manner of items to be autographed including photographs, hockey pucks, sticks and ice skates.

NJ sports artist, Mark Kannell, set up in the gallery's shop window to create a new painting of Callahan.  Kannell was having the painting autographed by the captain.
