N.Y. Ranger Callahan to Come to Legends Gallery

The captain of the New York Rangers will sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans.

Legends Gallery in Chatham Borough will host New York Rangers captain Ryan Callahan on Wednesday, July 24.

Callahan will give autographs to those with tickets between 7 and 9 p.m. Tickets range from $20 to $100, with $85 and $100 tickets including items such as pucks, flats and jerseys for Callahan to sign.

Callahan, a native of Rochester, NY, made his NHL premiere in 2008. He was called back down to the American Hockey League three times before permanently being added to the Rangers' roster in 2008.

He became the Rangers' 26th captain on Sept. 12, 2011, at the age of 26. He is the team's fifth youngest captain. Callahan also played for the US Olympic hockey team in 2010, where he he earned a silver medal in the Vancouver winter games.

Glen Sather, general manager of the New York Rangers, said Callahan "embodies all the leadership qualities we seek from our captain. He leads by example with his courage and tireless work ethic on and off the ice.”
