Wellness Week at The Adult School

The nonprofit Adult School of the Chathams, Madison and Florham will kick-off its fall term with a "Wellness Week",  from Monday, Sept. 19 to Thursday, Sept. 22.

Director Charlene Peterson stated, “The Adult School recognizes the importance of wellness and invites all to attend a variety of programs during the week for just one $10 fee.”

Peterson further noted that The Adult School appreciates the 74 years of support it has received and wanted to provide a meaningful low cost program week as a thank you to the communities it serves.

Most of the lectures, cooking demonstrations, fitness and recreational sport classes will be held in Madison or Chatham locations. Each class is 50 minutes long and there are day and evening options available.

The offerings include: golf, tennis, sleeping well, yoga, walking, skin care, swing and line dancing, marathon running, healthy shopping, nutritious eating and cooking, Reiki Healing, Tai Chi, Citizens CPR and more.
