The Monser Brawl - Psycho 78s Charity Game
Psycho 78s Roller Derby, New Jersey's No-Holds-Barred Roller
Derby team, will hold their final game of the season on
October 30, 2010. The 78s are NJ's first no-rules team,
have both an all-women and co-ed roster, with this game
marking the end of the first ever Renegade Roller Derby
season in New Jersey. The game is being held at the
Parsippany Presbyterian Church, located at 1675 US Highway
46, Parsippany, NJ and all proceeds will benefit their
Historic Preservation Project. The team recently held a
free game at Boonton Day, skating on a closed down Main
Street, Boonton. The team donates all bout profits to
charity, with their first bout raising over $1800 for Gulf
relief efforts. Psycho 78s hope to showcase the most
exciting form of the sport possible while simultaneously
raising awareness of their team and version of the sport.
