Chatham Fishawack Lacrosse Invitational Festival

The Cougar Lacrosse Club of Chatham is hosting the seventh annual Fishawack Invitational on Sunday, June 12 at Cougar Field.  The Fishawack Invitational is a spring lacrosse festival for boys’ lacrosse teams in grades 4-8. This year Chatham will welcome teams from Madison, Morristown and Wyckoff.

The festival was founded by Steve Kenety, who was involved with lacrosse for over 30 years as a player, referee and coach for Chatham Youth Lacrosse. Although Steve passed away in 2005, the Fishawack Invitational celebrates Steve’s contributions to lacrosse and his festival objectives: “to honor the great game of lacrosse, to get some exercise for the kids, and to have some fun and enjoy a (hopefully) beautiful day.”

The public is invited to attend the festival.  Refreshments, t-shirts and lacrosse items will be available for purchase.
