Cougars Defeat West Morris Central
Trip Burke scored three goals to help Chatham take the lead.
The Chatham High School hockey team defeated West Morris Central 8-4 Tuesday at Mennen Arena.
Trip Burke scored the first goal of the game, assisted by Teddy Simson, with 12:49 on the clock in the first period.
Less than 4 minutes into the second period, Burke scored again, assisted this time by Colby Collirt. Collirt then scored less than two minutes later, assisted by Burke, and 2:02 minutes later Robert Graziano brought the score to 4-0 with an unassisted goal.

After WMC scored their first goal of the game, Burke scored once more, assisted by Teddy Simson with 12:36 on the clock. One minute later Simson scored, assisted by Burke and Graziano.
In the third period, Travis Terzer brought the score to 6-1 with an assist by Tate Triano, and Burke scored again with 6:25 on the clock, assisted by Graziano and Collier. West Morris Central scored three more times before the game ended with a score of 8-4.

Goalie Jordan Boles had 17 saves on the game, and Chatham players took 45 shots on the goal.

- The girls swim team defeated Morristown 120-50.
- The wrestling team was defeated 66-9 by Parsippany.

- The JV bowling team defeated Morris Hills 3-2.
- The JV wrestling team was defeated by Parsippany 24-6.

- The girls basketball team plays Saint Dominic at Chatham High at 7 p.m.
- The JV girls basketball team plays Saint Dominic at Chatham High at 5:30 p.m.
- The indoor track teams compete at the Morris County Championships at Drew University at 4:30 p.m.
- The JV ice hockey team plays against Morris Knolls at 3:45 p.m. at the Aspen Ice Arena.
