Chatham Runner Finishes 4th in Maine Race

Dominic Vernazza finished fourth of 1,800 runners.

After winning the 2012 Fishawack Race, Dominic Vernazza did not spend his summer taking it easy.

Vernazza, a student at Chatham High School and member of the high school track team, participated in the "4 on the 4th" race in Bridgton, ME this summer.

The race is a four-mile run held each year in Maine, and drew over 1,800 runners this year. Vernazza finished in 22 minutes and 47 seconds.
