Bowling Team Defeats Delbarton

Boys and girls swim, basketball teams win Tuesday meets.

athletics have a lot to celebrate Wednesday.

On Tuesday:

  • The bowling team defeated Delbarton 7-0 at Rockaway Lanes in Rockaway. Sophomore Mark Huelsenbeck fired a 203 high game for Chatham.
  • The girls swim team defeated West Morris Central 131-41 at the Morris Union Pool.
  • The boys swim team defeated West Morris Central 125-45 at the Morris Union Pool.
  • The girls basketball team defeated Hanover Park 59-37 in Chatham.
  • The boys basketball team defeated Hanover Park 58-41 in East Hanover.

  • The bowling team travels to Plaza Lanes for a 3 p.m. game against Madison High School.
  • The JV bowling team travels to Plaza Lanes for a 3 p.m. game against Madison High School.
  • The boys ice hockey team travels to the Mennan Sports Arena for a 5:45 p.m. game against Mendham High School. Transport leaves at 4:15 p.m.
  • The boys fencing team travels to Butler High School for a 6 p.m. match. Transport leaves at 4 p.m.
  • The girls fencing team travels to Butler High School for a 6 p.m. match. Transport leaves at 4 p.m.
  • The boys JV wrestling team hosts Lenape Valley Regional High at Chatham High at 6 p.m.
  • The boys wrestling team hosts Lenape Valley Regional High at Chatham High at 7 p.m.

The boys and girls swim teams are hosting a Holiday Food Drive. The food will be donated to the Interfaith Food Pantry of Morris County. There will be a food collection box in the high school main lobby during the week of Dec. 19-23.

There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing lacrosse on Jan. 4 at 2:45 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. All those interested in playing in 2012 should attend. Pre-season workouts, preliminary schedules and spirit wear order forms will be distributed. If unable to attend, please contact Head Coach Deb Marriott.

The Booster Club next meets on Jan. 3 at 6 p.m. at the Chatham High Media Center.
