WAS Students 'Light It Up' with Flash Mob

Like it's dynamite!

held a Special Events Day for the arts Monday, with special guests such as the Select Choir and the Artichoke Dance Company from Brooklyn.

Parents orchestrated arts activities in the classrooms throughout the day, and teachers participated in some of the onstage activities.

Constance Jesse, a Chatham parent who recently opened Inner Grace Dance studio, choreographed a dance to Taio Cruz's song "Dynamite," which she and other teachers taught to the students throughout the day. The day culminated in a "flash mob" with the entire student body dancing to "Dynamite" in the All-Purpose Room.
