Video: Three Questions for Board of Education Candidate Greg Borsinger

Chatham Patch discussed school district issues with each of the four township candidates on the ballot in Tuesday's election.

Voters will go to the polls on Tuesday to select new Board of Education members for the School District of the Chathams. Two township seats are up for re-election, and four candidates—Ken Aul, Greg Borsinger, Matt Gilfillan and John Nonnenmacher—are running. (Borough Board of Education incumbent Steve Barna is running unopposed for his seat, which is also up for re-election.)

Chatham Patch caught up with each Board of Education candidate, asked them to discuss their backgrounds and then asked each of them similar versions of the same three questions:

  • What are your thoughts on salary freezes for teachers and employees?
  • How would you work with the board to handle a likely cap of 2.5 percent on property tax increases next year?
  • Where would you make cuts, if cuts needed to be made?

Here, candidate Greg Borsinger is featured.
