VIDEO: Students' Take on Heroes Day

Middle school students made their own video of the bullying awareness rally Friday.

During the Week of Respect, middle school students signed their names to a banner with the message "We Don't Stand By, We Stand Together" on it. The banner was the idea of another CMS student, Olivia Robertson, who saw a news report about 14-year-old Jamey Rodemeyer, a Buffalo teen who killed himself in September after he was bullied. Students gathered on the front green at CMS Friday while Principal Robert Accardi spoke to them from the roof, above where the banner was displayed.
