Victories for Volleyball, Tennis, Field Hockey

For Tuesday, soccer, tennis and cross country teams compete.

How did your favorite sports teams perform on Monday?

  • The girls tennis team defeated Madison 5-0 in Chatham.
  • The girls field hockey team defeated The Academy of St. Elizabeth 6-1 in Convent Station.
  • The girls volleyball team defeated Hackettstown 2-0 (25-22, 26-24) in Hackettstown.

The girls tennis team's Tuesday match against Oak Knoll was canceled. The Morris County Tennis Tournament will take place Sunday and Monday.

  • The boys soccer team takes on Voorhees at Cougar Field at 4 p.m.
  • The girls soccer team travels to the Florham Park Recreation Complex to play against The Academy of St. Elizabeth at 4 p.m. Departure leaves at 2:50 p.m.
  • The boys JV soccer team plays Voorhees at Cougar Field at 4 p.m.
  • The girls JV soccer team plays The Academy of St. Elizabeth at 4 p.m. at Haas Field.
  • The girls JV tennis team plays against Oak Knoll at the Colony Tennis Courts at 4 p.m.
  • The girls volleyball team plays Villa Walsh Academy at the Chatham High A/B gym at 4 p.m.
  • The boys cross country team competes against Pequannock High School at the Sussex County Fairgrounds at 4:25 p.m. Departure leaves at 2:50 p.m.
  • The girls cross country team competes against The Academy of St. Elizabeth and Pequannock High School at the Sussex County Fairgrounds at 5:10 p.m. Departure leaves at 2:50 p.m.
  • The girls JV volleyball team plays Villa Walsh Academy at the A/B gym at Chatham High at 5:30 p.m.



The NJSIAA has posted the grouping for the general classification sports.  Chatham again will be in North Section 2, Group 3.

The next Athletic Booster Club meeting is Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Chatham High media center.
