Victories for Girls Tennis, Soccer

On Monday:

• The girls tennis team defeated Hanover Park 5-0 in East Hanover.
• The field hockey team was defeated by West Morris Central 1-4 in Chester.
• The girls soccer team defeated Dover 2-0 in Dover. Goals from Kate Murphy and Jaclyn Leto, with assists from Lina Proska and Meghan Downey.

On Tuesday:

• The girls tennis team competes in the Morris County Tournament at the County College of Morris
• The girls field hockey team takes on Pequannock High School at at 4 p.m.
• The boys soccer team takes on Dover High School at at 4 p.m.
• The girls volleyball team travels to Hanover Park High School for a 4 p.m. game.
• The JV field hockey team plays Pequannock High at Haas Field at 5:30 p.m.
• The JV volleyball team plays at Hanover Park High at 5:30 p.m.

The NJSIAA has posted the grouping for the general classification sports. Chatham again will be in North Section 2, Group 3.

MORRIS COUNTY TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

Field hockey team will host Morristown-Beard. It is anticipated that the game will be played on Thursday, Oct. 6 at Haas Field at 4 p.m.

Girls soccer team will travel to Roxbury on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 1 p.m. at Haas Field.

Boys soccer team will host Parsippany Hills on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 1 p.m. at Cougar Field

The Chatham High Athletic boosters meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Chatham High Media Center.
