Soccer, Volleyball Games Still On

How did your favorite sports team perform Thursday?

• The girls field hockey team defeated Hackettstown 5-1 at Cougar Field.
• The girls tennis team defeated Pequannock 4-1 in Chatham.
• The girls volleyball team was defeated by Whippany Park 2-1 (25-16 Chatham, 25-18 Whippany Park, 25-21 Whippany Park) in Chatham.

The following games are scheduled as part of the Cougar Weekend Day 2 festivities:

• Girls volleyball vs. Hanover Park, 4 p.m., Chatham High School.
• Boys soccer vs. Mendham High, 6 p.m., Cougar Field.
• Girls soccer vs. Mendham High, 8 p.m., Cougar Field.

And what about Saturday games? Don't worry, we have those here, too:

• Boys and girls cross country competes at Warinanco Park at 9 a.m.
• Girls volleyball competes in a tournament at Bloomfield High School at 9 a.m.
• Girls field hockey competes against Mendham High at 10 a.m. at Cougar Field
• The boys football team competes at Cougar Field at 7:30 p.m. against Boonton High School.
