Six Chathamites Graduate in Pingry's 150th Class

The students finished their high school educations.

Six Chatham students graduated from The Pingry School Sunday in the school's 150th commencement ceremony.

Chatham residents Keri A. Forness, James Brendan Goldberg, Lucas Andrew Johnston, Ethan Surmay Kenny, Michael T. Lucciola and Pranav Maganti completed their high school eudcations at The Pingry School on Sunday.

Pingry's Class of 2011 included 132 graduates from from the area and took place at the Hauser auditorium on the private school's campus in the Martinsville section of Bernards Township.

The  is this year celebrating its 150th anniversary celebration. Founded by Dr. John Pingry in 1861 as a small boys school  in Elizabeth, the institution grew into a co-educational independent K-12 country day school with more than 1,000 students at campuses in Short Hills and Martinsville. Grades 6-12 are located in the Martinsville campus.
