Some of the members of the class of 2011 have already left to begin their college careers, and many others will soon follow. As the (former) seniors revert to freshmen, here is a list of the scholarships awarded at .

  1. The Principal's Cup: The Principal's Cup is given by the principal to the valedictorian and salutatorian of the senior class in recognition of their outstanding academic achievement throughout their years at Chatham High.

  2. The American Legion Post #92 Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to a senior who exemplifies the patriotic ideals of the American Legion and who has been active in school and community service.

  3. The Art League of the Chathams Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who has excelled in the arts and is pursuing a post-secondary program in the field of art. The scholarship is offered in appreciation of the community support that honored the Art League of the Chathams on their 20th anniversary.

  4. The Association of Chatham Teachers and Secretaries Scholarship: This schoalrship is designed to assist an outstanding senior who is entering the field of teaching.

  5. The Brett Carlton Barth Admirable Student Award: This award is given to a member of the senior class in honor of Barth. The award is based on school and community leadership, total school involvement and earning a varsity letter in at least one sport.

  6. The Tyler Berntsen Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded to one male and female senior scholar-athletes who have earned at least one varsity letter, are members of the National Honor Society, or have a GPA of 3.3 or better, and exemplify positive attributes such as diligence, care, dedication and drive. The students will be continuing their education at a four-year college or university.

  7. The Maureen Bisciotti Nursing Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to a senior student who will pursue a bachelor's degree in nursing. This award honors Maureen's dedication to nursing and her years of service to the School District of the Chathams.

  8. The Susan G Bronstein Memorial World Languages Scholarship: This scholarship is given in honor of a Chatham Middle school Spanish teacher who shared her love of languages with generations of Chatham students. This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who has excelled in the study of world languages and who chooses a world language as an intended major or minor at a four-year college or university.

  9. The Carmela Cecere Music Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to a senior who has maintained a fine academic average, made a contribution to the school and/or community as a soloist or group musician, and who has continuously studied classical music throughout his or her high school years, including senior years.

  10. The Chatham Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship: This scholarship is designed to assist a graduating senior who will be entering a field of business or trade.

  11. The Chatham Athletic Boosters Club Athletic Scholarships: These scholarships are offered to one senior boy and one senior girl whose athletic involvement best exemplifies the traits of sportsmanship, scholarship, leadership and citizenship.

  12. The Chatham Athletic Boosters Club Booster Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to a senior whose athletic activities have contributed to the success of the athletic program.

  13. The Chatham Borough Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to a student who has demonstrated academic motivation and worthy extracurricular activity in school and community.

  14. The Chatham Community Players Lee E. Nordholm Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is given to a student who has contributed the most to theatrical activities of the high school, on stage, and/or backstage. This scholarship is given in honor of , who dedicated many of her 81 years to The Chatham Community Players. Her joyfulness, vibrance of spirit, quick wit and genuine love and respect for all her fellow human beings will be remembered, along with her booming laugh.

  15. The Chatham Fishawack Festival, Inc. Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to the student who has demonstrated community service to the highest degree.

  16. The Chatham High School PTO Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded to students who have demonstrated academic achievement throughout four years of high school and who plan to attend a two- or four-year college or university or a trade, vocational or technical school. All four recipients must demonstrate high motivation, a positive attitude and remain in good standing throughout the conclusion of their senior year.

  17. The Chatham Historical Society - Margaret Keisler Scolarship: This scholarship is given by the Chatham Borough Historical Society to a student exhibiting scholarship, initiative and a commitment to community.
    • Winner: Emma Katherine Morrissey
  18. The Chatham Jaycees Scholarships: These scholarships are annually awarded to aid high school graduates of the Chathams who have demonstrated overall achievement and leadership potential through service to the community while maintaining an appropriate commitment to academics.
    • Winners: Kelsey Ellison Hart, Catherine Clark Steelman, Sean Thomas Whiteman
  19. The Chatham Kiwanis Scholarships: These scholarships are made available to two members of the senior class who plan to continue with their education. The scholarships are awarded for high academic standing, participation in school and community activities, leadership and good citizenship.

  20. The Chatham Music and Theatre Boosters Scholarships: The following scholarships are awarded to a student who demonstrates outstanding ability, commitment and dedication to the respective area of study.
    • Band: Andrew John Stasiukevicius
    • Choral: Sophia Tess Blumert
    • Orchestra: Abigail Claire Taylor
    • Theatre: Erin Elizabeth Collier
    • Multiple Performing Arts (in two or more of the following areas: band, vocals, orchestra or theatre): Douglas Trumbore
    • Performing Arts Major (for a student who has participated in performing arts programs at Chatham High School and has chosen an area of the performing arts as a career): Anna Catherine Dowling
    • Dorothy C. Kihn Music Education Scholarship (for a student who has made a commitment do major in music education in their post-secondary plans  and has demonstrated dedication to a music program at Chatham High School): Emily Margaret Deter
  21. The Chatham Rotary Scholarships: Awarded to a student who has demonstrated a selfless spirit in service to the community and the school.
    • Winner: Christopher V. McAuliffe
  22. The Chatham Township PBA Scholarships: These scholarships are presented to two seniors who have a parent actively serving, or who died while serving, the Chathams in a public safety capacity; or who are themselves in one of the following branches of public safety: Police and Law Enforcement; Fire Department (including volunteer fire fighters); or Volunteer Ambulance Corps or the First Aid Corps.

  23. The Chatham Township Republican Committee Charles R. Clark Scholarship: This scholarship is presented by the Chatham Township Republican Committee and is offered to a graduating senior residing in Chatham Township who is of good character, committed to learning and has exhibited leadership potential, participation in community activities and an interest in the political process.

  24. The Chatham United Soccer Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded to one senior boy and one senior girl who have participated in Chatham United Soccer and have demonstrated sportsmanship, community involvement and academic achievement.
    • Winners: Brian Kinglsey Ballard, Margaret Ann Nelson
  25. The Beth Kuhn Clark Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to the senior female athlete who best embodies a spirit of excellence through her sportsmanship and her selfless dedication to team play, making her teammates better and enriching everyone's enjoyment of the game.
    • Winner: Sarah Schuyler Tompson
  26. The Democratic Scholarship Committee of the Chathams Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who has demonstrated an interest in issues relating to the democratic process and who is planning to continue with post-secondary education. This year's recipient wrote an essay explaining how the internet influences election results.
    • Winner: Michael N. Strand
  27. The Ray Ellis Art Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to a senior student who will be furthering his or her education with an art career as a goal.

  28. The Great Reunion, Paul E. Harris, Jr. Award: This award is given in honor of this 1953 Chatham graduate to a student who has demonstrated outstanding spirit in school and community activities.

  29. The Green Village Volunteer Fire Department Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to a member of the senior class who demonstrates dedication to his or her community by involvement in an activity as a volunteer and plans to attend a post-secondary school.

  30. The Donald P. and Philip A. Grippaldi Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded by the family of these brothers from Chatham Township High School, class of 1970 and 1968, respectively. This scholarship awarded to a senior who has shown active interest and participation in class functions and who has steadily offered assistance to others throughout high school.
    • Winner: Max Walker Maltby Chloe Mitchell
  31. The Jonathan Harper Scholarship: This scholarship was established by the 1980 Chatham German Exchange Program in honor of Harper. It is presented to a member of the senior class who embodies those qualities that were important to him: a high motivation to learn, an interest in other cultures, independence, enthusiasm and conscientious participation in activities.
    • Winner: Chloe Mitchell
  32. The Vivian K. Hill School District of the Chathams - County College of Morris Scholarships: This scholarship provides support and encouragement over a two-year period for two students who plan to pursue a full-time post-secondary program of learning at County College of Morris.

  33. The Austin O. Hooey Scholarships of the Community Foundation of New Jersey: This scholarship was established by Ms. Hooey, a long-time resident, to assist Chatham High School in attending the college or university of their dreams.
    • Winners: Kelsey Brooke Fritts, Kelsey Anne Lund, Coleman Travis Moore
  34. The Investors Savings Bank Scholarships – Chatham Branch: This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who has demonstrated academic excellence and intends to pursue a post-secondary education.
    • Winner: Christian P. Ortolani
  35. The Patricia Jones Scholarship: This scholarship is offered by the friends and family of Pat Jones, a longtime, dedicated Chatham High fan and spirited community member. The scholarship is given in her honor to a student-athlete planning to attend a two- or four-year college and has earned at least one varsity letter during his or her years at Chatham.
    • Winner: Gregory Clarke Solomon, Jr.
  36. The Jonathan Lutke Scholarship: This scholarship is given in honor of this 2004 graduate of Chatham High School. This award is given to a senior wrestler who has demonstrated leadership, sportsmanship and commitment to the sport of wrestling. The student will be pursuing a post-secondary education.
    • Winner: Gregory John DeLade
  37. The Madison Lodge No. 93 Free and Accepted Masons Philip T. Sproul Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to a deserving senior who has met the primary requirements of scholastic achievement, character, community service and sincerity of purpose in the pursuit of his or her planned course of higher education.
    • Winner: John Joseph Lepore
  38. The PTO of the Chathams, Inc. Scholarships: These scholarships are offered to graduating seniors who have established records of hard work, good citizenship, strong personal achievement, are in good standing with the school and who have, in addition, made a positive contribution to Chatham High School.

  39. The Patrolman Anthony J. Pariso Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded by the Chatham Borough Policemen's Benevolent Association #226 in honor of Anthony J. Pariso. It is given to a graduating senior who demonstrates citizenship and community concern.
    • Winner: Amala Sooklal
  40. The Thomas Peterpaul Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded to two seniors who aspire to the profession of nursing just as Thomas was aided and inspired by his medical team throughout the duration of his illness. This award honors Thomas Peterpaul, who would have graduated with the class of 2011.
    • Winners: Lindsay Marguerite Marshall, Sara Margaret Rasmussen
  41. The Nicholas F. Rizzo Fine Arts Scholarship: This scholarship is given to a graduating senior who is pursuing a career in visual arts. The scholarship is offered in appreciation of community support throughout our 29 years in business.
    • Winner: Megan Elizabeth Duffy
  42. The Edward Joseph EJ Schmeltz Scholarship: This scholarship is given to the student who embodies certain intangible traits such as self-motivtion, dedication, loyalty, and has garnered the respect of the faculty, coaches and peers.

  43. The Lewis R. Sheats Scholarships: These scholarships are offered by the Chatham Borough Fire Department are given in honor of this 1960 Chatham High School graduate who gave his life protecting the lives and property of Chatham Borough. These awards are given to seniors who are involved or whose parents are involved in public safety.
    • Winners: Jessica Lynn Carey, Michael J. Glogolich, Alexander J. Sweetin, Christopher Joseph Williams
  44. The Peter W. Stoesser Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to a student participating in the college preporatory academic program and who demonstrated significant scholastic improvement from the sophomore to the senior year.
    • Winner: Michael J. Glogolich
  45. The Woman's Club of Chatham Scholarships: These scholarships are given to four Chatham High School female students who plan to further their education by attending a four-year college or university as recognition of their academic achievements, their service to the community and their participation in school activities.
    • Winners: Anna Leigh Schmitter, Catherine Clark Steelman, Kathleen Meagher Ughetta, Bianca Stefanie Weber
