Maurillo Breaks Tie for Field Hockey Victory

Reader scores Cougars' first goal on the way to the team's fourth win of the season.

's field hockey team played tough defense to preserve its lead and beat Parsippany High School, 2-1, on Tuesday.

IN SHORT
The Cougars took an early lead in their game against the Parsippany Red Hawks. Although Parsippany answered back with a goal of its own, it wasn't long before Chatham had reclaimed the lead. In the second half, Parsippany squandered numerous opportunities with offensive corners. Chatham's defense shut out the Red Hawks in the second half to preserve the win.

With the win, the Cougars' record moves to 4-2 on the season.
