Last Cougar Cubs Class Graduates

The Cougar Cubs program was canceled for the 2011-2012 school year.

The last class of Cougar Cubs, the nursery school program from the School of the Chathams, graduated Monday night in a ceremony at the auditorium.

Superintendent Jim O'Neill announced that the Cougar Cubs program would be canceled in the 2011-2012 academic year due to a shortage of classroom space and budgetary constrants. After outcry from students and parents, O'Neill and the board decided to allow the Young Child elective to continue, but paired with the state-mandated CHIPS program instead of the Cougar Cubs program.

Congratulations to the Cougar Cubs Class of 2011.
