'Guys and Dolls' This Week at Chatham High School

Tickets are on sale now for this local production of the award-winning musical.

Nathan Detroit, Sarah Brown and Damon Runyon's other vibrant characters will come to life this week as Chatham High School presents "Guys and Dolls."

Performances of the critically acclaimed Broadway classic, with music by Frank Loesser and book by Joe Swerling and Abe Burrows, begin this Thursday with an enthusiastic cast. Senior citizens can sneak a peak and get meal, as well, a day early. Tickets are on sale now.

The winner of six Tony awards, including Best Musical, this show is an all-American institution thanks to its vivid New York characters and fabulous score of rousing, up-tempo tunes and beautiful ballads.  Its humor and marvelous songs will entertain both young and old!

Full performances are scheduled for Thursday, March 3 at 6 p.m., Friday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. 

Tickets are $10 in advance, or $10 for students and senior citizens and $12 for adults at the door. Advance ticket sales are being held this week in the main lobby of Chatham High School from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. and from 3 to 3:30 p.m. and will continue daily through Wednesday.  Tickets will also be available at the door for all three performances.  For more ticket information, email kspadaro@chatham-nj.org.

Senior citizens will be admitted free to the final dress rehearsal on Wednesday at 4 p.m. and, new this year, senior citizens are invited to stay for a complimentary dinner immediately following the show.  To RSVP for the senior dinner, please email mjoakley1@mac.com or call 973-635-1330.
