Football Team Continues Undefeated Streak

How did your favorite Chatham High sports team perform over the weekend? Read on to find out!

On Friday:

• The girls field hockey team defeated Newton 5-1 in Chatham.
• The girls volleyball team fell to Caldwell 2-0 (25-15, 25-11) in Caldwell.

On Saturday:

• The boys soccer team defeated Parsippany 3-0 in Chatham.
• The girls soccer team defeated Parsippany 3-1 in Parsippany. Lina Proska scored two goals, Jaclyn Leto scored 1. Assists were from Maggie Higgins, Jaclyn Leto and Kate Murphy.
• In the Millburn Tennis Challenge, the Cougars of the girls tennis teamlost to Millburn 5-0 but upset Pascack Hills 3-2 to win the consolation round. Winning for the Cougars were first doubles players Caroline Mccann and Kendall Contri and third singles player Julia Edgar. With the match tied 2-2, the second doubles team of Ashley Perselay and Emily Sroczynski pulled out a third set tie breaker for the win.
