This beginner's class is being offered by the nonprofit Adult School of the Chathams, Madison and Florham Park.
Students will learn the keyboard (must bring own keyboard to class) and acquire the music skills necessary to perform on the piano from Bach to Bartok, including notation, rhythmic variations, chords and techniques for playing duets. There is no class on April 4, 2011. Students must bring their own keyboard to class.
The classes are taught by Gilda Carmel Spielberg, who has a Master of Music from New York University and has been teaching adults and children at all levels internationally and in the local adult schools.
