Lil' Reading Scientists Celebrates 2nd Anniversary

Lil’ Reading Scientists will celebrate their 2nd anniversary on Sunday, March 25th with a day of programs and fun for children. From 1:00-1:30 and 3:30-4:00, children are invited to join in a sing along with popular children’s songs and live music. From 1:30-2:30, children can work on alphabet letters and sounds through an alphabet craft and alphabet activities. From 2:30-3:15, the Center will offer story time and a related craft.  A raffle for a $250.00 gift certificate will be ongoing throughout the day.

Lil’ Reading Scientists is a Literacy Learning Center for children ages 18 months to 15 years, offering small group classes and individual therapy in reading, writing, spelling, and handwriting. As a community service, free reading screenings are offered to all children, to assess their developmental levels of reading proficiency. Since the Center opened in January of 2010, over 450 free reading
screenings have been done. The Center’s Director, Jenelle Erickson Boyd, is a NJ State Reading Specialist with 30 years of experience in the field of education.
