Education Foundation Offers $1,500 Scholarships

Two scholarships are available to Chatham High seniors.

The Chatham Education Foundation (CEF) has two scholarships of $1,500 open to college-bound seniors from Chatham High School.

The CEF funds numerous projects and grants within the School District of the Chathams, including .

Scholarships will be awarded to the two college-bound seniors who submit the best 750 to 1,000 word essays on how their education in Chatham was positively influenced by a project, program or equipment funded through the CEF.

Seniors who wish to apply for the scholarship can pick up the complete 2011 Scholarship Application package from the School Counseling department and complete the supplemental essay for the Chatham Education Foundation Scholarship.

The application is due March 4.

The two 2010 seniors who won the CEF scholarships were John Burns, who now attends Lafayette College, and Yesenia Werner, who now attends the College of New Jersey.
