Chatham High Teacher Gives Dramatic Demonstration of One of Newton's Laws

Bed of nails, sledgehammer used in physics lesson.

A recent CHS Pulse episode includes footage of Chatham High School physics teacher David Bandel teaching his class about mass and inertia by lying on a bed of nails and then having a cement brick on his chest broken by a sledgehammer.

The episode also features cross country runner Will Mitchell, who advanced to the Meet of Champions this year, and segments on a new reading program and Chatham High School's weight room.

"The Pulse" is a weekly, student-run video series.
