Chatham High Students Named Merit Scholars

Lily Smith and Parker Dixon were chosen out of approximately 16,000 students as semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Both seniors at , Smith and Dixon were chosen based on their high PSAT scores and are in the running for finalists in the scholarship program. According to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, about 15,000 finalists will be notified of their status in February and considered for college scholarships.
