Chatham High School Announces National Hispanic Recognition Program Honorees

Three juniors recognized for high PSAT scores.

Three Chatham High School students have been recognized by a national program that identifies academically exceptional Hispanic/Latino high school students, the school has announced.

Julia Anello, Daniel DeMatos and Samantha O’Brien were recognized by the National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP).

Each year, the National Hispanic Recognition Program honors about 5,000 of the highest-scoring students from over 250,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors who take the PSAT.

These students are from the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, the Mariana Islands and the Marshall Islands, as well as U.S. citizens attending schools abroad. The NHRP makes the information available to subscribing colleges and universities interested in communicating with the recognized students.
