Chatham High Prepares for 'Carnival' Homecoming

Homecoming weekend is here for Chathamites.

Students at Chatham High School will celebrate Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, with a football game and formal dance Saturday.

The Cougars take on Newton High School at 1 p.m. Saturday on Cougar Field. At 8 p.m. the dance will begin at the A/B gymnasium at Chatham High. This year's theme is "Welcome to the Carnival." The Pep Club presents the dance to the student body.

Homecoming king and queen nominees are chosen by the senior class and voted on by the student body, and the winners will be announced at the beginning of the dance.

This year's Homecoming Queen nominees are Bethany Robinson, Jenna Ioffredo, Mary Kate Helfrich, Mia DiBenedetto and Elizabeth Hyde.

This year's Homecoming King nomineers are Christopher Adams, Matthew Babakian, Matthew Proto, Frederick Heller and Christopher Dunleavy.
