Chatham High Grads Move Onward and 'Up'

Graduating seniors celebrated the 2012 baccalaureate with the theme 'Up,' after the Pixar movie.

Members of 's class of 2012 gathered at Corpus Christi Church Wednesday to celebrate the interfaith baccalaureate service.

The theme of this year's baccalareate was "Onward and UP-ward," a play on the Pixar film "Up" about the adventures life has in store, even for those who may think all their adventures are behind them.

Graduating seniors from each faith community in the class were invited to plan and participate in the baccalaureate. Sana Sulit gave the welcoming address. Anusha Sinha sang a Hindi prayer chant, Gulaba Khan read a passage of Muslim scripture and Josh Wolpert and Julie Messing read a Hebrew blessing. School choirs provided the music for the service.
