Assistant Superintendent Dudley To Retire

Budget hearing will also be discussed at today's Board of Education meeting.

School District of the Chathams Superintendent Anne Dudley is planning to retire from the district at the end of this summer, according to the Board of Education agenda for today's meeting.

The agenda says the board will make a motion on whether to accept Dudley's resignation at the meeting, which begins at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Township Hall. The board would likely vote to accept it.

According to the agenda, Dudley has worked for the district for seven years. If the motion to accept her retirement is approved, the retirement would be effective on Sept. 1.
