Assistant Principal Opens School Year with Blog

Assistant Principal Douglas Walker started blogging about school programs in his former job.

Chatham High School's newest assistant principal, Douglas Walker, does more than administer student discipline. In his three years as supervisor of technology in the Jefferson School District, Walker also developed quite a penchant for blogging, a skill he is now bringing to Chatham High.

Walker recently blogged about two special programs at Chatham High: A remote lab fo the Honors Physical Geography class taught via Skype by Rutgers Geography Professor Mike Siegel on how to create, interpret and critique various kinds of maps, and a critique of rhetorical strategies using social media by the AP English class.
