Again? Major Snowstorm on its Way
Storm could dump 12-18 inches on the area and could result in power outages and tree damage.
It looks as if the area will see its third major storm of the winter this week.
A large snowstorm will arrive in the area later tonight and will drop 12 to 16 inches on the area, according to National Weather Service reports.
The National Weather Service has already issued a winter storm warning that will go into effect at midnight. It is scheduled to expire at noon Friday, which means meteorologists expect the storm to linger in the area for about a day and a half.

The storm will be at its strongest Thursday afternoon into Thursday night. During that time, winds are expected to gust at 30 mph, and the National Weather Service is warning that snow will be blowing and drifting during that time.
The winds could also cause "scattered" power outages across the area. The snow will be wet and heavy, which could potentially cause tree limbs and building overhangs to collapse.
New Jersey Transit has already announced system-wide cross honoring will be in effect Thursday.
A snowfall two weeks ago and a December storm each dropped about a foot of snow on the area.
